Welcome to MBHC and the world of hockey! Hockey is a fantastic sport, which is open to everyone from 5 –65 and is played all around the world. By joining us, you will become a member of a worldwide hockey family of millions of players as well as a welcome member at our club. Middleton and Bognor Hockey Club currently run three mens teams, one ladies team and also mixed hockey on Sundays. Games will be played at the Arena (next to Bognor Regis Community College) on Saturdays. Training takes place at the ALC (Arun Leisure Centre) 7-30pm Wednesday evenings, these sessions are split into Mens and Ladies and are both run by qualified coaches. Ladies have teas after their games at Middleton sports club, the Mens section have teas at Newtown Sports and Social Club. Mens 1st X1 play in South-League, Sussex Div 1, Mens 2nd X1 now play in Sussex Open Division 1, Mens 3rd X1 in Division 2. Ladies 1st X1 are now in Division 2 Sussex Open League. We enter the Sussex Cup each year, and have mixed hockey games, so there is plenty of hockey to keep you interested. We run a Summer league from June to August every year. Hockey Festivals and Tours can also be arranged for those interested. We have a wide range of abilities and standard of hockey. New members are always welcome to join, please see contacts to get in touch with one of the captains if you want to play some hockey. Costs Senior Subs - £65 if paid by Sept 30th, if not paid by then, the subs would rise to £80 and all subs must be paid by Dec 1st Student Subs - £50 if paid by Sept 30th, rising to £65 as above
Student £5 per game Junior £5 per game For players paying only the odd game for the club, a guest fee of £5 needs to be added to the match fee, subject to a max of 5 games per season. These are some of the lowest costs you will find in sussex so come and join.
